Making change in your life (or, you know, just life in general these days) can cause a lot of stress.


Luckily there are a handful of great stress relievers that can help calm your body and mind.


๐Ÿซ Breathing - Intentional deep breathing is a simple, fast, and effective way to regain a sense of calm in the body.


๐Ÿ—ฃ Talking - Sharing whatโ€™s stressing us with a trusted person can help us release the extra energy and often just being seen, heard, and validated in our feelings can help stress ease.


๐Ÿคธ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ Moving - Any kind of movement helps release stress from the body. Take a walk, shake it off, stretch it out!


๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ Meditating - Practice just being present and observing the mind chatter rather than engaging with thoughts of the past or future. In my experience, meditation works best if you have a bit of a practice in place before trying to use it as a stress reliever. In fact, practicing during times of calm has helped me bring that sense of calm to stressful situations more easily.
