Eat the fish and spit out the bones.

Confession time: I ALWAYS adjust what I learn from personal development “experts” so that it works for me. Sometimes this can mean throwing out whole chunks of their advice. 😬

Eat the fish and spit out the bones. 🐟🦴

I firmly believe that we all have to build our own toolkit full of practices and processes that work for us. For example, I recently read the book “Breaking The Habit of Being Yourself” by Dr. Joe Dispenza. Great book, learned a lot, but he wanted me to do a very long, multi-step meditation as part of re-wiring my brain.

No, thanks. Not for me.

BUT I liked the basic idea of the meditation so I created my own and it DOES work for me.

Take what works for you, leave what doesn’t, and always, always, ALWAYS do what serves you and your life best.

You do you, love. Always and in all ways. You’re awesome! 💖
